Who can vote by mail?
You
are eligible to vote early by mail if you are a registered voter who is:
•
65 years of age or older
•
out of the county during the entire election (must provide the address outside the county)
• College Students
•
sick or disabled
•
confined in jail, but eligible to vote.

Instruction for submitting an application for Ballot by Mail (ABBM)
1. Print ABBM Form
2. OR submit an order online and an ABBM will be mailed to you
3. Complete Section 1 trough 4.
YOU MUST PROVIDE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING NUMBERS:
Texas Driver’s License, Texas Personal Identification Number
or Election Identification Certificate Number issued by the
Department of Public Safety (NOT your voter registration VUID#)
If you do not have a Texas Driver’s License, Texas Personal
Identification Number or a Texas Election Identification Certificate
Number, give the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number
4. Sign and Date Section 5.
5. If you were unable to sign the application and someone witnessed your signature, that person must complete Section 6.
6. If someone helped you complete the application or mailed the application for you, that person must complete Section 6.
7. Affix postage.
a) If you printed the application you must place it in your own envelope and add postage.
b) If you ordered the application online and it was mailed to you - fold the application in half, moisten top tab, seal and add postage.
8. Address and mail the completed ABBM to:

You also have the option of submitting a scanned copy of the completed and signed application to the Early Voting Clerk via email

If an Application for Ballot By Mail is submitted by email, the original, hard copy of the application MUST be mailed and received by the early voting clerk no later than the 4th business day.

Instrucciones para presentar una solicitud de boleta por correo (ABBM)
1. Imprimir una Solicitud de Boleta Postal
2. O envíe un pedido en línea y se le enviará un ABBM por correo.
3. Complete la Sección 1 hasta la 4.
DEBE PROPORCIONAR UNO DE LOS SIGUIENTES NÚMEROS:
Licencia de conducir de Texas, número de identificación personal de Texas o número de certificado de identificación electoral emitido por el Departamento de Seguridad Pública (NO su registro de votante VUID#)
Si no tiene una licencia de conducir de Texas, un número de identificación personal de Texas o un número de certificado de identificación electoral de Texas, proporcione los últimos 4 dígitos de su número de seguro social
4. Firma y fecha Sección 5.
5. Si no pudo firmar la solicitud y alguien presenció su firma, esa persona debe completar la Sección 6.
6. Si alguien lo ayudó a completar la solicitud o la envió por correo por usted, esa persona debe completar la Sección 6.
7. Envío postal.
a) Si imprimió la solicitud, debe colocarla en su propio sobre y agregar franqueo.
b) Si ordenó la solicitud en línea y se le envió por correo, doble la aplicación por la mitad, humedezca la pestaña superior, selle y agregue el franqueo.
8. Dirija y envíe por correo la Solicitud de Boleta Postal completada a:

También tiene la opción de enviar una copia escaneada de la solicitud completa y firmada al secretario official de votación anticipada por correo electrónico.

Si un Solicitud de Boleta Postal se envía por correo electrónico, la copia impresa original de la solicitud DEBE ser enviada por correo y recibida por el secretario de votación anticipada a más tardar el cuarto día hábil.
